October's blog writing review

I think that writing blog is fun as it reminds me what I did in the English class and recall my memory.  Writing blog in English class is fun as other students can comment on your blog and we can write blog to gain marks.We can also give comments for our teacher and she will know whether her teaching is good or not.I think writing blog is a good activity in Senior one I but I think maybe students can write blog twice a month.I think I will not continue writing blog in the future because I think writing blog is a little bit troublesome. 

September's drama

This month, our teacher asked us to prepare a drama about fairy tale. When I heard this, I was not as happy as my friends. I did not like to perform in the public especially those performance that need to memorize the script.I will forget what I memorize when I perform every time. But this time, I manage to perform the drama naturally and without forgetting the script. I think I have already improve a little bit. Our tittle were The Three Little Pig. We changed a little bit from the original story. I think it was fun to perform the theme that we like.Also, I will like to thank my group member because they put a lot of effort to perform this drama.

August' letter

This month, Ms. Tina asked us to write a letter for our senior. The letter is about how to improve our result. I am very happy because I like to write letter to others. I always write letter to my cousins who lives in Singapore. Its because we like the same things like stationery and idol. Although some of my friends will laugh at me and say I am not modern but I still like to do what I like. The people I write to is a girl and she is very nice. The advise that she gave me was very useful and I am very grateful. I think she is also a cute girl. I gave her a little present with a few sticker but she took one of it only.

July's

This month, we have learned a new chapter and it's one of my favorite chapter. This chapter is about nature and travel. Through this chapter, I found that i do not know many vocabulary about the nature view. So, i should put more effort to it to get higher mark in the next class test. Also, we did another SPM oral presentation. My topic is about the cactus. Cactus is my favorite plant because it is easy to plant and take care. It won't die easily and it will protect itself. I thought I was lucky because I presented it early. Ms. Tina said I spoke it in a natural way and I though maybe the topic was something that I was familiar with.

June's poster

Hello!!! I've came back from the two week holiday. In the first day of English class,Ms. Tina told us we need to make a poster. The theme of the poster is "My School".As this year, our school has reached the 70 year.I made up my group with Wan Qi ,Kei Yan , Yen Qi and Star Low. We describe the Science and Technology Tower. We did it in the last minute because we can only find a little information from the internet. In the end ,we find the information from booklet that was given when we were Junior 1.So, we are able to pass up this poster on time. I am happy that we are in the same group and thanks for Wan Qi because she has did a lot of thing for us.

May's exam review

The exam was over which means the holiday is coming soon! I am quite satisfied  with my result because i actually think i will not pass the exam. I think i am quite weak in the writing part. to solve this problem,i will read always read English passage or read some English magazine that I am interested with ''National Geography''.Besides,I need some time to conclude the things that teacher had thought because I will easily forget the things if I did not do revision . Anyway I will work harder in the future !!

APRIL'S PBL presentation

  It's April!!! My English class teacher had set up a PBL presentation for us. PBL means Project Based Learning. I made up my group with Ong Wei Yee, Pua Ching You and Howard Tan. Wei Yee was the group leader as she is reliable and very hard working. At first I didn't want to group up with Howard ,I think he is pretentious because he always ask question that we don't know in the class. But, he just ask us:"Can I join your group?" and then he took a chair and sat between me and Ching You. So,we our group was made up by no reason. Our group made the Gesture and Bingo game. Students are divided into two group and each group was given a bingo board, the group which "BINGO" earlier wins!Our group was the first group to present.There are some situation during the presentation but I did a backup and it was used. I was happy because I could help. I think the game is a little boring but it's the first time I set up a game with them.Besides that, we have a good time when we did this project and  discuss.I think that the most interesting game that I play is card scrabble because it test how fast our respond is and how many words do we know. Our group almost win but in the end we  was beat by another group.

March's new friends

I have already been in  S1 Manchester for three months and I knew a lot of new friends too. I'm in the same class with Giam Xin Yuee and she is my seatmate.We always take picture together.

Also,I found out that I'm in the same bus with On Yi Xuan and Pua Ching You. Yi Xuan is a very quiet girl in the class but actually she is an active and talkative girl,we always talk some funny thing that happened in the class. Ching You is a very talkative person even in the bus he also talk a lot.Because I'm in the same PBL group with him so we will discuss it on the bus.

Besides that, after the March holiday we will have a oral test.But, the day before holiday teacher ask us to pass up the oral script.I think teacher has forgot so I suggest teachet to write down what teache has told us.

February's Forum

It's February and the forum in my class has started. My group's tittle is  " Why Students Don't Complete Their Homework". My role is a teacher. To complete this forum , I've made a questionnaire to know why my friends don't complete their homework. So, the result is they don't understand the question and they have too many activities after school so they don't have time to do. On that presentation day, I'm very nervous so I just read the script . A member in my group didn't come so we less a person.This is the first time to present forum and I think that other group also did it very well. I like this activity very much.

S1 Manchester

     Today is the last day of  January and I have become a senior one student for a month. The difference between junior and senior is the syllabus is harder and more homework.The new English class classmates are quiet.When teacher is teaching they will take notes and ask question if they don't understand.Besides that,my English teacher is a modern person.She encourages us to use the network to find something that we want to know.She always says :"You can GOOGLE everything."She gave us a mini project at the first day when we met her and she told us the importance of working in a group.
