APRIL'S PBL presentation

  It's April!!! My English class teacher had set up a PBL presentation for us. PBL means Project Based Learning. I made up my group with Ong Wei Yee, Pua Ching You and Howard Tan. Wei Yee was the group leader as she is reliable and very hard working. At first I didn't want to group up with Howard ,I think he is pretentious because he always ask question that we don't know in the class. But, he just ask us:"Can I join your group?" and then he took a chair and sat between me and Ching You. So,we our group was made up by no reason. Our group made the Gesture and Bingo game. Students are divided into two group and each group was given a bingo board, the group which "BINGO" earlier wins!Our group was the first group to present.There are some situation during the presentation but I did a backup and it was used. I was happy because I could help. I think the game is a little boring but it's the first time I set up a game with them.Besides that, we have a good time when we did this project and  discuss.I think that the most interesting game that I play is card scrabble because it test how fast our respond is and how many words do we know. Our group almost win but in the end we  was beat by another group.

March's new friends

I have already been in  S1 Manchester for three months and I knew a lot of new friends too. I'm in the same class with Giam Xin Yuee and she is my seatmate.We always take picture together.

Also,I found out that I'm in the same bus with On Yi Xuan and Pua Ching You. Yi Xuan is a very quiet girl in the class but actually she is an active and talkative girl,we always talk some funny thing that happened in the class. Ching You is a very talkative person even in the bus he also talk a lot.Because I'm in the same PBL group with him so we will discuss it on the bus.

Besides that, after the March holiday we will have a oral test.But, the day before holiday teacher ask us to pass up the oral script.I think teacher has forgot so I suggest teachet to write down what teache has told us.

February's Forum

It's February and the forum in my class has started. My group's tittle is  " Why Students Don't Complete Their Homework". My role is a teacher. To complete this forum , I've made a questionnaire to know why my friends don't complete their homework. So, the result is they don't understand the question and they have too many activities after school so they don't have time to do. On that presentation day, I'm very nervous so I just read the script . A member in my group didn't come so we less a person.This is the first time to present forum and I think that other group also did it very well. I like this activity very much.

S1 Manchester

     Today is the last day of  January and I have become a senior one student for a month. The difference between junior and senior is the syllabus is harder and more homework.The new English class classmates are quiet.When teacher is teaching they will take notes and ask question if they don't understand.Besides that,my English teacher is a modern person.She encourages us to use the network to find something that we want to know.She always says :"You can GOOGLE everything."She gave us a mini project at the first day when we met her and she told us the importance of working in a group.
